My style has been described as minimalist and pure.
I photograph subjects interesting to me and that capture a personal feeling which I try to portray in a photograph. Sometimes it is successful, sometimes not, but the act of attempting that perfect photo is my happy place.
Admittedly, I am thankful for my iPhone because I can be spontaneous with a photo shoot. It may take one or 100 photos to capture the image I am looking for, but without digital technology, I would not have any of these photos today.
In high school I developed my own photos and learned to love the purity of non-manipulated photographs. I do however, love cropping an image, but my photos have very little, if any, color manipulation.
Seeing that perfect photo on the screen, then printed and framed is so rewarding. The icing on the cake is sharing those photos with others.
